I know it's for the new Audi, but similar production line methods

As far as I know they use the original A4 B7 production line from Audi to produce the Exeo.

My Exeo was assembled in 4 weeks, after that it took another 4 weeks before it arrived at the dealer. The Exeo was shipped by boat from Spain to the Netherlands. I guess that boat stops very often during its trip round Europe.

Yeah, I heard the shipped out the whole production line.

Wow - only 8 weeks in total.

I wonder if they just schedule 1 shipping per month or something - would make sense. No point shipping unless the boat is full

Shame you can go pick them up ... by the time you get back to the UK, it'll be nicely run in.

Is it just me or does the perimeter road around the "SEAT Centro Tecnico" look like it would make a good race track?

Ordered on the 1st March, delivery date is estimated to be week 26 - mid June I am hoping.

She's on her way apparently - expecting delivery on the 13th June ... now I have to sell my current wheels - anyone up for an A3 ?

I oredered mine 9th March - with an estimated delivery 8th June. Originally the build week was week 20, that has slipped to week 21 and as of yesterday is "programmed" for week 21 but NOT confirmed (Code 10). I am told once built they are shipped to sheerness with several thousand cars and then its logistics to get it to your dealer. So question of the day for your dealer is - has it got a build week, and is the build week confirmed

According to my dealer, actually in transit, ie already built.

bad news today - order slipped to week 29 (from 20) and even if its built that week its the last week in July, factory shuts for August so wouldnt get it till mid September grrrrrrr. Apparently 20 cars from this dealer have all slippped - and VW have an issue with some components from Japan on the 2.0 engine.....plan B

Larfinboy - why not just call the dealer and cancel? If your £20G + isn't good enough for them to provide a firm delivery date 30 days or so in advance then I'd tell 'em to shove the car wheresoever they would like to shove it!
