1M0-858-061-C1-UQ - Seat Leon SatNav Centre Console (Expensive!!!)

Is it the same as the Audi A3 SatNav Centre Console?
The console looks pretty much the same on pictures..

I have found pretty cheap double din centre console from crashed Audi A3.

This is MK1 A3/S3 but the facelift, there's no dobule din in pre-face A3/S3.
I think that the fascia may be different, but I hope the console is the same.

On Etka I can't find a double din console for a Mk1 A3/S3. That pic you have just doesn't look right though. All I could find was :-
8L0 863 243 K 2003 Audi A3/S3

The 2004 Leon Mk1 double DIN console came up as :
1M0 858 061 C 2004 Leon

I looked into this in detail a couple of years back, and yeah, you could make your own but its a huge amount of effort. The various switches and panels in the centre console mount at different points to make room for double din in the current radio slot and its not easy to relocate it all and get it square. Not impossible though.

I'm sure that you can get these parts now relatively cheap by searching the internet for sites specialising in parts for these cars, but to do it properly it isn't going to be a matter of 20-30 quid!! Breakers yards might have something from an A3/S3 or Leon if you're lucky and you'll need all the trim surrounds too.

sat nav unit is the same it has built in radio/cd player also

i made my own. not very hard. the only things i had to buy was the double din facia ((£20) and a mk4 gold doubl din adaptor (£20). i also bought a console in the breakers fo 10 quid just that i could use the car while i was making it. i had some screws and stuff lying about but anything you need can be got in halfords or homebase etc. i also had my stereo got before i started into making it. all the switches go in the same place so dont worry about that you wont need any new ones or anything. i only had to move the fan/blower that was hooked to the little sensor for the air conditioning and i moved that down to where the obd port hole is on the new facia...
mine fitted

That's awesome mate. Maybe I was looking at it too deeply!!

That's what I love about this place....... there is always someone with a solution!

cheers guys. i got one from the scrappy. 10 quid i think it was. its not hard to do. took me about a day i guess but most of that was working out where/how to mount things and what to cut out. id say i would do it again in about half the time... no way was i paying £300 for one lol
