Audi red engine bay detail?

Ive seen a few other marques use the same kind of effect as the Audi rs4 on the cam covers (the kind of red matt textured effect). Id like to do a few bits of my engine bay the same and wondered if anyone knew how it was done or how to re create a similar effect?

folia tec do spray cans of it, i think they sell it in halfords too, in a tin, paint it on leave it and it makes the effect il have a look on the foliatec site

It's just matt red high temp paint isn't it?

Crackle red type finish ala Ferrari's etc can be 'faked' like this

Thats it! I think it looks spot on, i was hopeing to do mine in either red or black to match the engine bay (red mybe too much with the yellow?)

Can you get this "duplicolour" in the UK?
