Would S3 alloys go on my 1.4 AEX if i changed the hubs..? they are 17", would i have to do arch work or anything?

should be for 17's and a 40mm drop will be okay but S3 are 5 stud and to be honest I wouldn't go through the trouble of changing the hubs for S3 rims, there's much nicer rims about!
16's do look a lot better on the Ibiza's than 17's! So look at Mk2 or Mk3 Cupra's.
You can get adpators to change 4 to 5 stud.

Adapters mate....but stick to 16's on a 40mm drop or 15's on a looow drop.
