ive seen a lot of threads with people saying they need to cut an audi tt brace to fit the lcr
today i came up with an idea on how to fit it with no cutting required

some of you may have already done this i personally haven't seen it done before

so for those who are interested heres how i did it

so i won a audi tt strut brace of ebay for bargain £20 ,alot of peolpe said they dont fit due to the bonnet lifter but i had an idea on how to get around this

firstly i remove the bonnet strut bracket

which left me with this ,it did look alot worse but i went over it with some black spray paint

i then i trial fitted the brace

fits nicely
now for the gas strut to lift the bonnet i drilled the actuall brace its self and attached the strut to the brace with a m6 nut and bolt

all fitted and bolted down all in all im very pleased with it and no cutting required to the brace at all
