Somewhere up north
Just seen these results. The Leon mk 3 came 7th in the list of best cars to own and was ranked the most pleasurable car to drive in the whole survey.

It was also ranked 4 th in the most reliable cars list.

Not to shabby.

As someone who is looking to buy their first Seat I was worried by some reviews that said it was not refined/quiet but that result gives me more confidence.

It's not quiet when you're on it, but it can be if you want it to be.

They are definitely a lot of fun, and a great way to lose your license :p

For me, this is what the Cupra is all about...

That one has had a tweak or two though.

Im finding that my 2017 184 tdi is very quiet for a diesel.when i read the review before purchasing they said they had done some more soundproofing with the facelift tdi engines.i prefer the drive of my leon over my previous 2016 golf but that might be down to the fact that it has the multi link suspension even with the 18s.

I am going to get 1.4 with dcc so hopefully that will be both comfortable, good handling and quiet. The 8 seconds to 60 is miles better than my current 11

I could see it being a very reliable car on the whole, and living with one is hassle free but things like rattling door trims on mine is a let down, especially when they cant be fixed by the dealer.

Mine is just coming up for 3y service and 1st MOT, and still drives like new and not a single rattle from anywhere (the grandkids chair and my Disklok in the pass footwell don't count) so will be keeping for another year or two, great quick and comfortable motor,

How many miles has it done?
