Automatic Window Closure via diagnostic port, not autowindows / alientech!

Hello, I had a quick look around but there doesn't seem to be any link to this thread.

It is all about activating window operation from the keyfob through the diagnostic port using PC software and a VAG-COM cable.
They seem to be having a reasonable amount of success with it.

Does anybody feel game enough to try this on a Leon?

Scotty, I am aware of autowindows, which is a unit you must wire to the car.

If you read the thread I've linked to you will see that this is done by reprogramming the control module through the diagnostic port and does not involve any wiring mods to the car.

It seems to be something that has only just been discovered with the threads starting around the start of the month.

Try searching on vwvortex as well for more info.

Bought one of these about 6 month ago it took about 3 weeks to arrive and a half a day to fit myself with a soldering iron (dont like them crimp connectors)
go for the autowindows reflex model if you have folding mirrors like me looks well pimp when your walking away from the car one press of the key fob and if the windows are down they go up and the mirrors fold in. wicked
