Oh my actual god. Read the posts. Awesome have nothing to do with Techniclutch, anywhere except your tiny mind. Your posts are actually starting to become slanderous, and I'm amazed they've been allowed to continue

Witness evidence suggests these clutches might be Techniclutch kits, and therefore James Cotton and John Fisher have had a meeting, agreed a price and an order quantity. Now they are selling them, i.e. James Cotton sells them to you guys, and a percentage of that goes to John Fisher, as he sold them wholesale. As a result, they are both making money. None of that is slanderous, it's stating a fact based on the information available.

Well I know of 2 people who will be laughing about this....James Cotton, MD of Awesome GTI, and John Fisher, MD of Techniclutch .....yeah laughing all the way to the bank....!

Especially John Fisher as he's already folded the previous company, liquidated it (probably owing creditors), then started a new company with a slightly different name - that's the only reason you would reform a company with a slightly different name.

From Companies House:

"NATIONWIDE CLUTCH DISTRIBUTORS LTD In Liquidation (Late 2004)"

Just add "uk" to the name and start it again!

"NATIONWIDE CLUTCH DISTRIBUTORS UK LTD Active (since Late 2004)"

http://company-director-check.co.uk/director/902465921

"Techniclutch" is a trading name of "NATIONWIDE CLUTCH DISTRIBUTORS UK LTD", and the business has declared only £20 in the bank, lol, whereas Awesome declared nearly £81,000 in the bank, so as such a stand up company, I'm very surprised they've got involved with Techniclutch at all

Can you please tell me what this has to do with the thread???

Wrong. You haven't stated any fact whatsoever. What you have posted is quite clearly slanderous. Your accusing the MD of Awesome of ripping people off, purely because someone somewhere on a forum might have said there was a sticker on their clutch kit

Shock horror people in bussiness making money they should be ashamed. Or am I missing the point? Also so what if these clutches are made by Techniclutch (which I'm not saying they are) if they work as designed?

Do you realise the ONLY person who cares about this campaign you have against Awesome GTi is you? Everybody else in this thread is telling you to shut up and go away and you just keep on posting out of some misinformed ideal that you are helping the users on this forum. In actual fact nobody asked for or wants your help and advice much less want to hear what you have read on other forums concerning somebody’s brother’s sister’s mother’s first cousin.

slander is "a malicious, false, and defamatory statement or report"

What I have said is not malicious, because it was not "motivated by wrongful, vicious, or mischievous purposes".

It wasn't 'false' as this hasn't been proven.

And it is only 'defamatory', i.e. injurious to reputation, if it is shown they are selling Techniclutches, to which all the available evidence points to, i.e. several witnesses who have provided verbal statements on Briskoda.

They chose to sell these clutch kits, so they should be prepared for criticism too.

How many times do various people need to tell you to shut up? All you are doing now is making an arse of yourself.

Has mOrk seen this thread yet? Wonder if one of the admin's have had a good look...............

This is becoming ridiculous when you think back to the OP's post, lol.

Take up your campaign with Awesome if you really are that cheesed. Everyone other than yourself is actually taking note of what you're saying. You still won't post real reasons for this attack on them other than someone saying their mate has a sticker on his kit that says something other than it should...

Very comical tbh :)

The problem is that sometimes they work and sometimes they fail, causing irreparable damage to the clutch and gearbox sometimes too, as has been photo documented with Techniclutch kits several times.

This can mean expensive labour bills, hassle of getting a replacement, and further expense with buying a new gearbox.

My ultimate point is: if people want to risk it for a cheap fix to a slipping clutch then that's fine, we all live in a democracy and capitalist society, so you are welcome to do that....just don't come crying to me when it breaks...

I might buy two. One for my car and one to put on the wall at the end of my bed to remind me not to be stupid every morning.
