and a pretty crap video of her on the rollers

Needless to say i am very happy with the figures made..... especially as these rollers are not known for reading higher than normal.

Was even more surprised when the dyno operator told me that she is running sweet as a nut..... even though it took me 5 attempts to get her started 10 minutes before her run on the rollers lol.

Next up....... get my finger out and replace the dud coolant temp sensor then i don't need to worry about the car struggling to start when cold.

No more sluggish starts in the morning and no more engine management light or fault codes :)

Was a stubborn little fecker to remove and then the new one wouldn't fit in...... Until I realised the old o ring was still in the housing lol.

Quick top up with some G12 and she was fully operational again :)

Just need to sort the passenger window now..... The regulator has packed in :(

Passenger window has been sorted out..... 2nd hand regulator bought off eBay, 3hours of swearing and it was all fitted :)

On Sunday I decided it was time for a well needed service.
fresh oil & filter, removed and cleaned the green cotton filter, hoovered out the air box, refitted the filter and fired a new set of NGK plugs in. On removing the plugs I found two of them to be very slack, lucky if they were even down on the compression ring. And they had defo seen better days. This may explain the lumpy idle that has now disappeared since changing the plugs.

I also carried out the obligatory winter checks...... and uncovered a failing battery, which was expensive for a replacement :( Front tyres have 4mm left on them so will be looking into a set for the front in the next few months.

Over the last few days there has been some strange noises coming from the front right of the car..... sounding like the spring had broken, but when I checked it there was nothing wrong, but the noise still happens on occasion

Had the other halfs dad stick the car up on the 4 poster and check the suspension over..... his answer was " change all the shocks, stick some lowering springs on, new strut top mounts and polybush it while your at it" lol.

I'm currently compiling a shopping list as we speak
