Hey guys n gals!

Just a bit of advice really (Bill u r welcome as well lol) After a jetex filter from Bill as ive heard amazing reviews about them..and..well..i want my mapped cupra r to SOUND like a turbo lol!! (used to have an MR2 turbo with a blitz filter on and omg the noise! lol..and yes i know the engine position, turbo etc etc does affect the sound) Just saying i wanna bit of noise lol.

So what do i need?? Filter? Extension placing the filter into the wing more? Is there different size filters etc etc. Or should i just ring Bill n ask what he recommends lol

Thanks in advance :p

Darren

I've got the Badger 5 V1 TIP a homemade heatshield and K&N filter:

i've got a badger5 v2 80mm tip, jetex filter and thats it and it made 272hp from stage1.

it sounds awesome like a "proper turbo car" lol sounded like it'd of sucked you in if you got to close when it was on the dyno yesterday lol

Thanks guys... RDS do u think its easier/cheaper then to buy that conical JR filter in the link u sent and the silicone joiner to pop it into the wing than go to Bill then? I know hes a legend on here..just trying to save a few £'s if possible (and if its exactly the same and cheaper..why wouldnt i lol)

Do i need anything else?? As im removing the airbox, do i need a little breather filter for something?? (think ive seen them on some peoples bay pics)

thanks guys! :)

ps- RDS your filter is conical like the one in the link (although yours is a k&n) But i like the looks of Dom's more..looks bigger (like the second filter image in the link u sent) Fills the hole better left in the bay lol ;) that make sense??

It does make sense mate, but I've got a BPI flow stack so need a filter with a wider neck.

The filter is cheaper then from Bill and free p&p. Here is Bill's pricing, you can get a heatshield from him aswell so may be a good option.

I wouldnt run a foam filter, over time there's the chance that dirt particles will be pulled through.

Not keen on foam filters as u say..dont flow as well, and actually prefer the noise of a mesh style induction kit! RDS if i ordered that filter in the link do u think it would be the conical one or the other one? (in fact ill ring them tomorrow i think) And 80mm is obviously what i need for the MAF etc?? Cool..will order the red silicone extension now..and the filter tomorrow..then a heat sheild from Bill!

Happy days :)

Silicone coupler and aluminium pipe ordered from your link RDS :) Will ring up n order the filter tomorrow! :) What little breather filter do i need for the tip please??
