i really want a set for winter, but don't know how much they'll set me back etc.

Fl@ps, we've touched this subject before, on about some of the sites etc and looking at the oldrod stuff.. crazy iasnt it..i know some of the early aircooled VeeDub stuff fetches crazy money, wonder if it'll really ever get that way with golfs etc?

i think it will in fact it is already is on some early stuff sadly the later stuff is becoming rarer as when new it was a throwaway item anyway so save the good stuff now and retire later i reckon

just think how many 20vt's and vr6's are getting ripped apart lately - extortionate pace

hard thing is nailing the right stuff, only last night saw 2 old Iron Maiden Tour T-shirts that i have had,worn and condemned to death as rags when they fell off me, yet decent ones were fetching £200-300 a piece - mental


as for wheels, can you not go for standard 6J +(ish) golf ones and go wider ?
