Hi all,
I found a filter kit on eBay consisting of air, oil and fuel filters for £17 (+£7.50 for pollen filter). They are FIL filters. I can't say I've ever heard of that brand, so: is it a bargain or am I better off buying the bits separately?
Thanks for your advice,

Boosh.

I bought a load of these (I bet you're looking at D&D Filters, aren't you) for the van when I bought it second hand. I was changing the oil every 1000 miles as it was in really bad shape service wise, so I wanted loads of cheap filters.

They're okay, but they're not as good quality as genuine. I don't mind using them in the van so much but the car always gets genuine ones. Sere Motors.

Not exactly a bargain, but I have been running with a 'Pipercross air panel filter' for the past 6 months and can thoroughly recommend as it does seem to improve the go of my 2.0tdi Altea - I'd pay 30quid again for one !!

Regards

Air filters and pollen filters probably aren't gonna do any harm but a dodgy oil filter could cause major problems, and terminal ones at that ! :cartman:
