I finally had my last gauge turn up today. :)

It's looking like it'll be a while before they're fitted as I've to a few bits and bobs to do at the same time.
I know have the full of 3 autometer phantoms. Boost, oil temp and oil pressure. Two will go in the nomad twin pillar I have and the last in the airvent on the drivers side.

I also had a little delivery from France today. Mine and Tims parking tickets for Le Mans!!

That's only 6 weeks away and we've got so much to do before hand.

Well I've managed to get myself a few days off work so I smashed the housework out the way to keep misses happy then got onto the car.

First off I had to finish making the custom pod for the vent so spent a couple of hours doing that then got on with piping in the new boost gauge.
The oil temp and pressure will have to wait for a few days I'm afraid :(
No progress pictures I'm afraid just the end result.

After a quick drive up the road, you can tell the differance between a quality and a cheap gauge.
Before I had auto gauges, I now have autometer phantoms. The accuracy level of the boost is awesome in comparison.

Really happy with them :)

Another day on the cars done,

We had yet another ultra productive day. We got started by cracking on with the leon, stripped the front shocks off, removed master cylinder and abs module. Then dropped the rear beam (I'm having the brakes), dropped the exhaust and took the spoiler off.

Then Mike decided to have a rest as you do.

AUDI UPDATE!

Me and Tim the dropped onto the Audi while Mike finished the leon.

Dropped the flushing oil out and refilled, bled the clutch and filled all the other fluids that needed doing.

We then have it a small test run in the car park which went swimmingly  so we rebuild the crash bar, headlights and bonnet catch and took it for a test run :)

A quick stages in shots.

The day we got it.

All in all and awesome days work and some great results, over the moon with all the work that's been done.

A big thanks must go to Phill for sacrificing a weekend to help with the rebuild :)

@ RDS.....

Im sorry for the crap pictures and filthy car but you get the idea.

If you see how much further out the bottom strip is to the second pic that's the difference between thick tape and thin tape.

Hope this helps a bit dude :)
