its perfect wayne. no cutting involved, all i had to do was drill the 2 holes, i then fitted it with body pins, looks neat imho :)
the only thing that isnt that good is the spray job, but im going to re do mine in satin black to match a little better

ok wayne will do. remember tho, its no good without the battery brackets as you will struggle to get the cold feed pipe past the battery. the scoop is made for a 80mm feed.

sorry wayne just had a reply

Hi Sam.

Ar mate, i didnt make them, i got a garage to make them, for no profit. It was a real ball ache, and the even the garage said never again,.. I must of sold about 20 - 30 at the time, I think most people didnt actually fit them, because of the tight fit.

Just be glad you got one..............!

Phil

i tried my best :(

this seemed very promising when they were being developed but due to the oval end it was impossible to get a hose to fit to this snugly to take the cold air around the battery.

i just bought on at the end of last week, 30 GBP

i'm going to be running a race spec battery and a dual cone fliter behind the head light so this will be good for my set up

As Sam says, the fit is perfect due to the fact it was a direct copy from the ones used on the Super Copa race car.

Anyone with the talent could copy it, as long as they have the right tools and machinery...

Im sure there are quite a few lying around peoples shed, as i never saw that many being fitted.

Sam was lucky as I had one left, which as he says, the finish wasnt perfect..... All i did was take the original scoop to a garage and they copied ....

Expect to see a few scoops in the wanted section, after people reading this....... Im sure ive got a relocation bracket lurking in the garage as well......

.....the whole excercise was a right PITA if I recall, must have been the 2nd or 3rd attempt to get them made.....a lot of effort for little return I guess.

i was only messing i bet they are a pain and time consuming but surely theres a market for this for a company to make them buy the shed full?
