Apologies if this has been answered before but I'm on my mobile at work and I have an exam today so haven't currently got the time to be searching!
My battery warning light came on as I was driving to work, turned the engine off when I got here and started it again and it comes back on.
I haven't yet had chance to check the belt, however I doubt this is the problem as the temp of the engine remained constant for the rest of my journey and all belts were replaced a few thousand miles ago.
I will check cable/plugs and earth straps on my dinner, but failing that will I have to goto seat? I'd be stranded in Birmingham otherwise and I've got a 40 mile trip back home, assuming the battery isn't dead by the time I leave work
