Hello Lads,

First post and its a question.. I know i'm going to be frowned upon from you boys but here goes!

Just got a Seat Leon mk2 with the worst wheels on EVER.. Just wondering if the 18" BBS CH - 5x112 ET45 would fit directly to the car?

If so what tyres would be the best fit for the car and the alloys?

Thanks alot in advance.

PS. Readers ride will be active in a few weeks!

Cheers lads, getting a quote from a mate tomorrow if all is good they will be on the car by the weekend.. :D

Thanks for the help

Genuine BBS wheels are really good but the only BBS Ch's that have ET45 are the CH-R and these won't be a straight fit. The "normal" ch's however have et51 (18x8j) and will fit perfect.

Just asked the seller of them, He says I will need some spigot rings, Anyone had this issue with them or is he pulling my leg?

Sorry about the questions I'm not too smart with wheels and sizes ect

U will need spigot rings. They slot into the wheel and over the hub so that the wheel sits perfectly central on the hub. Most aftermarket wheels need them so that they will fit on various different cars.
Genuine bbs wheels will cost well over double the price of reps.

Ok mate thanks, ordered the wheels.. no going back now haha!

They will go on fine, but as mentioned you will need some spiggot rings to make them sit perfect ( and make them safe). I had to run mine without the rings for a few days until they arrived, and the wheels where all over the place and vibrating like mad on the motorway. I fitted the rings and they are silky smooth now and no vibrations what so ever. I went for some aluminium ones though and not the cheap plastic (eek) ones for peace of mind :)

(Ignore the spacers)

Cheap, lighter than OEM and look the nuts. Win win

Where is the best place to buy genuine BBS CH's? How much would a set cost say without tyres? And whats the difference between the CH's and the CHR's?

Fantastic, Yeh I went for the more expensive ally spiggot rings too, I wouldnt be able to live with myself if something went wrong and i crashed because the plastic broke, for the sake of a couple of quid.

Oh my those wheels look good <3.

Also, what is your front bumper benji? has a thin bottom part, mine isnt as thin as yours (just under the bottom grille) Looks really nice, as the rest of your car does

If you type in on facebook "triple R composites" that will bring up the page of the company who makes the splitters for this bumper. It just screws on from underneath :)
