makes me sikkkkkkkkk

I'm occasionally tempted to get out and give my LCR a good claying, but this time of year it'll only look shiny and clean for a week at best (as proved above!) so i can't really see the point of all the hard work :(

I did my alloys last saturday, but by the end of sunday they were filthy again... damn winter.

T least it doesnt look being uniformly dirty, its when one of the kids around your way writes their name in the dirt on the boot that it all goes pete tong. It was worth it for the week of glory nonetheless!

always wondered when it comes to clay. Do you just push the clay onto the area with the cleaning fluid and then lift it off and repeat or do you rub it at all? Plan on getting some but dont wanna make a mess of my paint work

oh an u wash car dry it spary it then wipe clay over and dry or let it dry i think i did it a while back then went to take sum pics an ended up driving through sum cow S*it i was rather annoyed :( looks stunning by the way mate

Its really easy to use, you start off by washing the car so you have a clean surface, then do a panel at a time, 1st cut the clay into 2 or 3 bits (just incase you drop it really ), then nead & warm it up in your hand, & then press it in to a flat pancake type shape, spritz the quick detailing lube on the panel, so its dripping wet, then rub the clay over the panel, using a very small amount of pressure, check the clay & its should start to get dirty from the crud its lifting off. Wipe the panel with a clean microfibre & move on to the next one.

Always seal of the paint with a new coat of wax/sealant.

HTH :)

Very nice, what wax did you use etc? Was it by hand or with a buffer?

all by hand me ol' mucka! and no fancy tricks neither...just washed the fooker with turtle wax triple was shampoo and wash mits, then dried with meguires water magnet, then clayed using megs quik clay system, then waxed with glass wax or something along them lines, i cant think at the minute..took about 3-4 hours though..

lovely mate, every time i get to that stage it either rains or goes dark so i cant take any pics
