Been dented!

Some unthinking has door-opened my Ibiza. 400 miles --- WALLOP --- impromptu body-mod.

They've made a small dent in the bodywork in the driver's side front wing. To add insult to injury, their vehicle was painted white and has left deposits on my lovely Black Magic!

Anyone know a good place in Hampshire to get this reversed without affecting warranties (or should I go back to the dealer) and how much I should expect to pay?

I believe the Chipsaway people are equipped for small dents like that. They usually come out to you and shouldnt cost much at all.

i had a slightly bigger dent in a similar place from someones foot and i went to dent devils, and got it done for £60 - but that was cash in hand, so maybe slightly more than that.

Actually, I've just found Dentex in North Baddesley, who are right next to the dealership where I bought it. Anyone had any experience with them?

ive got a dent like that on my front wing looks bad when really shiney just not got around to sorting it yet!

I guess it's just another thing to add to the list of "dream-world active defenses" for my car. In addition to a rear-mounted high-power magnetron to nuke tailgaters' ECUs, and something with lasers to turn those feathered squawking terrorists into a Sunday roast before they target my car, I'll now have to electrically isolate that panel and connect it to a coil pack. Muahahaha!

I've got a dent on the drivers rear side of the car on the wheel-arch, where i hit the neighbours car whilst reversing! oops...

have tried ya local body shop don't look to bad i bet u could get it sorted from about a £100
don't bother to go to main dealer will cost u a arm and a leg
i don't know how it stand on ya paint warranty m8 but if i comes down to it u could Dennie all knowledge of it

My mum had a dent just higher up on her wing, the dent guy I chose charged £10 to remove it!

If you try them let me know what they are like... Mine has a few that need sorting out. Had the leon for 3 years and not a single dent or scratch, had the ibiza a year and I've picked up 3

OK folks, got it booked in with Dentex on Monday. It's next door to the dealer, so they can run it round there when they've investigated the squeak coming from the front and fitted that rubber back-seat stop.

Got the dent fixed! £45, took Dentex three quarters of an hour. Just like new. I am now again.
