After mentioning it on another thread... but temp beep is back.

-0.5 this morning.

Started the car with the rear window on, no heat on the blower....

My water temp light started flashing and I got a new beep in sync wit hthe flashing. I have done a quick phone video, but the beeping stopped before I could record it. Although the temp light kept flashing for a while.

Anyone had this before? Know what it is or why its doing it?

I often get this on a very cold morning (but without the beeps, or maybe I'm just to deaf to hear them). I restart the engine and everything if fine. I've put it down to a temperature sensor sticking or some condenstation frezzing somewhere

My whole climate control screen has begun to flash every so often when I start up now. Carrys on for a few seconds and then goes back to the normal settings

Mine did it once every now and then, maybe 4 or 5 times that I noticed in all over about 3 years. Never did know what caused it, but there seem to be no ill effects, still works fine.

My Cupra TDI started doing this 2 days ago. Did it again this morning. It was -4.0 degrees

It didn't beep this morning - just a red light, but the Mrs said it beeped for her.

Was going to go to dealer but can't be arsed now I've read this (good timing!)

I reckon it will be fine when this cool snap passes.

mine flashed for the first time yesterday on the lcr i presumed it was a warning of some sort that the engine was to cold to drive and so i waiting untill it had been running 3 mins before i drove off, i restarted it and it went out , i think the outside temp said -4 c
