Beep When Unlocking

Has anyone experience a beep from the Alarm when unlocking the car and opening the drivers door?

This morning I first opened the boot from the remote, closed the boot unlocked the drivers door from the remote and opened the door, the alarm (I assuming it was the alarm) emitted one short beep.

Not sure if it is a one off event or if it is telling me the alarm has gone off during the night etc. Any ideas?

Most alarms beep if the alarm has gone off, my ibiza does it.

Can anyone with a MK2 Leon confirm this?

There is a controller option which can be coded with VAS/ VAG-COM to enable an alert if the alarm has been activated. I've never actually come across a car with it enabled yet though.
