Best diesel fuel

Just thought id post this thread as i though this was a good question. What has everyone found to be the best fuel to use?

Also any tips on how to improve mpg.

I normally use BP ultimate and get around 550 miles out of my tank.

550, i get 450 tops so far, bp ultimate and shell xtra.

Generally use Shell Extra. Local garage had run out the other day (Extra stickers on pumps were taped over) and the manager said it was the same as normal Shell diesel apart from a few additives. He also said they were expecting V-Power diesel to be available mid/late Summer....I live in E Yorkshire.

As to improving your mpg......drive more slowly? I get around 38-40mpg so probably don't
