Best Fuel Economy

when i have to pick the missus up from Edware (N. London) i usually have to travel about 5-7 mins down the A1 at 70 until i hit a 50 mph for 1 minute. I usually get about 37-38mpg on this short journey which i'm very pleased at.

Car's done about 8k.

I was thinking about the price of diesel last night as i went down the A20 doing ***mph then i slowed down and went to change down into 5th and realised i was in 5th.....ooops thats a few more pence for the Taxman...

Everyone could save em selves a few pennies by just backing off a bit on the motorways and doing 70mph instead of 80+

true, but those few pennies are well worth it tho .

my 57.9 was calculated the computer on car said 61.7 mpg normally get 40 ish on general trips
