Best headlight bulbs upgrade?

Hi all its probably been asked before but what headlight bulbs upgrades are best for a mk4 fr tdi ?. Ive read about osram night breakers and Phillips extreme vision ? What bulbs do the fr I believe that they are h7 ?. I don't want to go down the hid route just upgrade bulbs.

I got Osram Night Breakers Gold Edition fitted a few weeks ago and find them a good upgrade over the standard bulbs

I have led sides as they give a nice white crisp look. Don't match my night breakers but I don't really care.

I'm using Osram Night Breaker Plus H4 in my mk2, and I a pair of Ring Xenon Ultima 120 as spares.

I haven't yet used the Rings. I find the Night Breakers quite good compared to the OEM. In low beam, the NB's have pretty much the same range as the OEM, despite being whiter. In high beam, it's a new world: still with a little yellow, but more whiter and the range is very nice.

Not sure but I think the mk4 FR uses H7 in low and H3 in high beam.

I have also hearde about the Philips X-Treme Vision, but since they are more expensive than the NB's and the Rings, I haven't bought them.

Yeah h7 in the fr I believe. Looks abit tight to get in there and change the bulbs. Sidelight bulbs look abit ofa challenge ?
