Best Intercooler for big turbo setup

Hi guys,

I have a Forge FMIC on my car for about one year and I was thinking to change it with a larger intercooler with larger inlets.
Which would be the best one to use? I will be fitting a GT3071 turbo next month I hope :)

best ting is to get it custom made, a bit more pricey but u can specify wat u want, radtec did mine they do alot ford stuff for pumaracing but very good at wat they do

my car makes 453bhp/410ftlbs without nitrous and i use the forge intercooler:) 2 different tuners said it works just fine at those levels.

I have the Forge FMIC Kit for Polo 1.8 turbo with 2" inlet and outlet on the same side, and all the pipework is also 2". I think 2" is too small, but it makes no sense to change the pipes with 2.5" if the intercooler inlets are 2" :)

dat does sound on the small side but depends how power u running n how boost pressure u running also, i just fitted custom built ifmic from rad tec 2.5" inlet n outlet (both on same side) but mine standard map at mo n its alot more eager low dwn for some reason. ill be posting pics hopefully this afternoon on 2moro morning
