the bits i fitted are : Cupra R front bumper, MY03/Cupra R (they are the same) sideskirts, MY03 rubstrips (painted) and MY03 rear bumper. improves the look, dont you think?
Yeah without a doubt. Improves the look no end.
Was starting to kick myself for not getting a facelift model, but have a bit of faith that it'll look OK if I fit them after.
If you don't mind me asking, where did you source the bumpers/skirts, and how much did it cost?
Also, being an unusual (but very nice) colour, did it cost much to get them sprayed? Mine is Grey, so might be easier to find a second hand match.
I've been keeping my eye out for stuff on Ebay, but no joy as yet. Is it worth approaching SEAT?
all the parts are genuine seat items, i got them from the guy who used to be on this forum who was the parts guy for a seat dealer, which ment he offered a bit of a discount. All bar the front bumper that is, which is a replica from ebay (i wouldnt recommend it)
There are alot of parts to buy, to fit the rear bumper you need runners and clips etc, to fit the side skirts you need a whole host of brackets and clips and to fit the front bumper you need all of the above plus some grills etc. It does come to quite alot of money but its worth it (although i would say that!)
i had my parts sprayed together at a local bodyshop, borrowed my company van dropped off all the bits and picked them up a few days later. cant remember how much he charged me but it was a good price for cash (around £250 i think)
You should be able to find one bumper or the other on ebay in the correct colour, as you say i couldnt do that becasue mine didnt come in that colour in cupraR or MY03 cupra stance

i don't see Yumann's LCR from his mod list it looks to be a beast! would love to see that one.........also there's a guy with a red LCR with some stunning 19's on it, i think he's from cheshire kind of way, anyone know who i mean?
seeing all these stunning cars really does inspire me to be more pro-active on the mod front

"six pot" cheers!!! that's the one, no idea what those 19's are, but man they just suit the R so much, if i remember rightly it was featured in a thread on SCn where it won a show or something?

As said earlier everybody has different tastes, so everybody car is going to be different. It doesnt matter what people think, you have got to appreciate the effort that people put into their cars..to the modifiers !!
