Tried this for the past week or so.
Driving very chilled out and hardly revved above 3,000.
Managed to get 400 miles in a LCR.
Has to be said though, it felt pants and I was gettin overtaking by almost everyone on the road. Just didn't feel right.

Mixture of chilled out and spirited driving - I see 300 miles.
Constantly gunning it all the time - 220 miles (Only ever done once as I love my car too much)

So, If I manage to get 300-400 miles to a tank, I am a happy camper!

Cheers

My average over the time i have owned the car is 28mpg. Worked out the hard way using receipts and mileage. Has gone down a little since the re-map since it now boosts from lower down.
I am convinced that anyone achieving over 350 miles to the tank has had their enging stolen by faries and replaced with a diesel one.

Never seen MPG above 31 even on a motorway run!

270 mile round trip completed @ 41mpg :funk:

Yes it took quite a long time but as it was during work time who cares :D

I've no idea what mine equates to in terms of MPG - they sell the petrol in litres, and my tank is 55 litres. 427.9 miles from 55 litres is........

nope, no idea!

Normally fill up on Tesco Super and on a regular 25 mile trip I do would average between 30-33 mpg (Standard LC). Filled up on V Power the other day for a change and the mpg has gone upto to 38mpg on the same trip in the same conditions. Wasn't driving at instant ban speeds admittedly, but wasn't driving Miss Daisy either. Done that trip twice now with the same results, will definately be filling up at Shell again.

Either that or my trip computer is :censored:

what you guys need is a TDI!!!!:p
i drove from my home in scotland to peterbourgh and used just under half a tank of fuel at 62.8 mpg. :D That was just cruising at 70ish the whole way. and if the trip computer is correct then it predicted that i could cover 670 miles on a tank!!!

The onboard fuel computer in the LC does the hard work for you :)
