Best place for new shocks

After two replacement shocks for 2017 Leon cupra 300 is it visit to dealers or there cheaper options car has dcc

I've not got a useful answer, but I'm listening to what answers you do get, is it "misty shocks" time?

Amongst other parts, I’ve replaced a shock on my Cupra 280 already since owning it Jan 2022, and now another is leaking ? My independent parts supplier said they’re a dealer-only part unfortunately. The beauty of DCC. I get my independent mechanic to source n fit em. Cheaper labour rate and they know what they’re doing.

DCC shocks are Monroe. They recently started selling those as aftermarket equipment. A few months ago you were only able to get those from the dealers for double the price. Probably a clause with VAG etc. Same deal as with the 370mm disks from SHW.

I recently bought a couple of Bilstein B4 front DCC struts from Spring Loaded for £211 ea. They were the cheapest I could find even compared to Seat parts.
I see the price has risen to £253 now though

There's also an uprated B6 Bilstein for the SEAT - BIL-23-254343, though its about £50 more per unit.
