Long Eaton, Notts
so ive got all the stuff needed to go from k03 to k03s just need someone to do it.

wheres best in east midlands? need a good job but not bank breaking!

Adam

You only need a ratchet, 13mm socket, 17mm socket and then hex 6 allen key to undo the banjo bolts for oil feed/ return and cooland feed/ return.

Any local mechanic should be able to do it with a few hours work. If I were you I would do it myself...

Who's going to map it?

I would definately do it myself if i were you

I managed mine without any problems, only problem for me was removing the standard downpipe.

A garage will likely charge a good few hours work and with the going rates it could possibly cost £200+

Oil and coolant should be drained before you start for when you remove the water and oil lines for the turbo.

Simply refil both when complete then bleed the water system

You'll need that to be mapped mate, I wouldn't go around with a K03s with the car "thinking" it still has a K03. For real performance differences get it mapped...

Not sure if this is the case but you may run lean as the ECU isn't adding enough fuel, someone on here will be able to confirm that for me, or tell me otherwise

C & R Enterprises in Radford.

Autotechz, Pasture Road, Stapleford.

Alternatively, if you didn't want a garage to do it, you may find someone at the Derby meet tomorrow night that could help you out for not much ££ ;)

im pretty sure if it got re-ran on the dyno they can adjust the fuel and boost timings etc, as the 'stage 2' is just software it would always be the same. So the car and ecu should be ready for it, would just need adjusting once new turbo on.

Adam I have heard that when fitting ko3s it's best to tale it nice and easy on the way to get it mapped, so it running a little lean makes sense! I know it has stage 2 but last thing you want is driving it hard for 2 weeks lean! That's why I can't go past 6k revs as it's running lean! Until Friday baby when mine gets map't again:p

Who's stage 2 map are you currently running?

You cant just put it on the rollers and adjust the fuel and boost timings. Its all done with the map, therefore you will need either your current map adjusted or a new map..

"Adjusting" fuel trim and boost is also known as remapping, whoever installed your map should be able to tweak it yes and I would expect a discount but RR operators aren't going to do this for you, especially if they didn't map your car... No doubt Stage 2 is more than ready for K03s though.

its revo stage 2 from monster motorsport

once the turbo is actually fitted im obvs going to go easy and get the map tweaked/stuff adjusted on rollers as soon as possible by the same people that did the map.

just need it fitting first all the map adjustment blah blah shouldnt be a problem as ill go back to the people that mapped it originally and im pretty sure there not going to charge for a whole new remap?!

If its REVO then you should just need to adjust timing & boost via a SPS unit..

No need to adjust fueling realy...
