Hi, as the title states which company is best at remapping the FR petrols with the DSG box? thanks

Also the closer to the north east (Grimsby) the better.

Thanks guys.

well any revo dealer for any petrol FR or Cupra really, people rave about Revo being one of the best if not th best tuner around (obviously not me as im Shar'k powered and i wanted my DPF off) but secondly because they do DSG software (about £200-300 i think) as well its a safe bet they have looked into the DSG alot and im sure any map they do for a DSG car will take into account that knowledge.
All tuners can map your car, the DSG doesnt prevent that, but maybe, just maybe Revo's map will be better for it as a result.

I have a bluefin (superchips) map on mine and am not happy with it as i know i can get more power, so tomorrow i am going to revo HQ to get it remapped by them....

Do a search mate there are loads of threads about remap companies... custom code, revo, superchips, p torque, GIAC.... all have there ups and downs... most repsected i would say on here is revo.

I know what your saying about any tuner can map DSG, but I don't want just any random map putting on, I want someone whos good at mapping and specifically for the DSG box.

What gains (BHP&Torque wise) you looking at about 40ish?

Cheers

the fact the car is DSG doesnt make any difference to the remap....

You can get a remap for the DSG box itself which removes automatic kick down / upshift and apparantly makes it a little faster.... but thats completely seperate to the remap for the engine....

do a search on this mate so many threads... i have gone from 197hp std to 251hp with whats in my sig.... will get more, especially torque when i get my revo done tomorrow.
