does anyone know the bhp of a 1.6 16v engine from 2001 engine code AUS?
and ow hard will it be to put in my 1.4 8V spi 1997? cheers

i think it's 105bhp

im sure it mounts differently to the 1.4 engine you've already got so custom mountings may be required

i dont think theres much point in doing that to be honest mate... if youre going to do it go for a 2l jobbie... and then think about how much easier and better itd be to buy a new car...

i would guess somewhere around the 400-500 mark but you'll also need clocks ecu, wiring loom and anything else you find along the way

you'll also be needing someone to fit it if you can't do it yourself

probably not worth the hassle as ibiza 95 says, save and buy something with a bigger engine or use one from a mk2 based vehicle
