Bi-xenon coding help!

Hi guys, wondering if anyone can help me. Retrofitted xenon headlamps into my 2008 Cupra, come to code them in via vagcom and everytime i click onto the long coding helper and switch 'xenon headlights without shutter installed (Bi-Xenon) and then go to code it keeps coming up with the error;
This equipment number is invalid!
Equipment number must be 5-6 digita: 00000-262143

When going onto the recode module page i can see the code '328969' but is in a highlighted grey box so cant be edited.

Anyone shed some light on this for me please as i need the car for work and im kind of stuck if i cant use my headlights.

There's your problem. You need the xenon range controller installed and coded, along with the sensors on the front and rear suspension.

There's your problem. You need the xenon range controller installed and coded, along with the sensors on the front and rear suspension.

Would the range sensors stop me from coding them in to get them to work though?
When i say the wiring needs to be wired to the control unit i mean the extra wire that comes off the kufatec adapters that goes into the comfort unit by drivers trim to enable the bixenon to work when you flash.

At the moment im having problems with getting the headlights to work i aint going to go ahead and install sensors on front/rear suspension unless i know i can get the headlights working

Come back when you've tried using a cable with the latest version of VCDS installed.

If you can't use updated VCDS software because you're using a clone VCDS cable then come back when you've tried with a genuine cable. There are known issues with some cloned cables so putting aside what modules you actually have installed (or what a clone cable / cracked version of VCDS thinks you have), no-one wants to be chasing their tails trying to help when the issue with the actual coding may be caused by the use of a clone cable.

Am having problems with xenon flash, I've wired pin 11 to the cecm and changed settings on vag com to xenon with shutter installed but now I get both xenon and halogen high beam?? I only want xenon high beam so how do I go about this

Come back when you've tried using a cable with the latest version of VCDS installed.

I will check if theres any software updates for VCDS when i get home

Check back on my posts I done this without fitting washers and levelling on my old fr but it will fail mot now! I wired pin 11 straight to the h1 high beam feed with will open and close the shutter!! Do the lights flash on off when you start the car?

Sorry I can't remember which pin it was,
I fitted a pin into number 11 and with a volt meter found the High beam feed at the plug and and connected pin 11 to that,
so when when you flash or turn the high beam on it will open the shutter too, on pre 2009 leons the shutter and h1 do both work at the same time

that way you don't need to fit the range control and levelling stuff but it will fail mot now, my current FR has the factory fitted AFS bi xenons so don't need to worry

My car is a pre 2009 but my brother retro fitted his years back and only had the xenon flash and not both. Is there any way I can have only xenon flash?

No from the factory they both flash you could disconnect the h1 bulb but you will get bulb warning can only guess he has his wired wrong having both on is better as you get more light with both high beams on??? Just put some night breaker bulbs in if you are worried about the different colours
