not nice reading all the horror stories... Ive had to drive through a flooded road on the way to work a couple of times.. I just waited till i could use the middle of the road and no cars coming the other way.. sounds like you didnt get that option though

Second that! Pulled Air filter hose away from maf and I just waited till i could go through the middle of the road (Shallow part) still was pretty deep, was dreading it.

Come out lucky though.

The worst one is when Mr white van man comes past the other way and sends a tidal wave in your direction. This happened to my mate and the insurance didn't want to know unless he got the guy's numberplate
