Quick question if i had a mk 4 golf with 288mm dics could i put 312mm ones on on do they require further bits of kit?

you just need a 312mm caliper carrier AFAIK , eg, leon/ golf/TT 180bhp

well youd need a pair obviousy , try a local scrappies , or i got my calipers and carriers from www.247spares.co.uk for 82 quid delivered ,
