bigger turbo?

hi, im new tto the forum, joined over the weekend, i drive a lcr 53plate 210, any body no wots a good bigger turbo upgrade without spending an arm n a leg?? cheers ash

Have you already got a remap? if not I'd say this is the way forward.

ye, iv had a stg 2 remap mate. jus ordered sum lightweight engine pullys, and an exedy clutch is next, but want the bigger turbo now lol

id have a search and a read on lightweight pulleys before you fit them mate. or speak to badger 5 on them.

well hybrid will see you approx 300bhp for 3k, bt 350bhp for 5-6k

i hope u mean 300quid lol. iv already bought the pullys, gonna get my local perfomace garage to fit them, is it not a gud idea to have them?

300 quid will probably get you the silicone youd need to fit mate.

pulleys have been discussed as a bad idea on cupras... have a search for it on here mate

Defo bigger turbo, hybrid KO4 isnt all its lived up to be, my mates have hybrids and make only 286bhp and that peak power is at 4500rpm and drops straight down to 240bhp by 5200rpm and holds 240bhp to the redline

i was the same as you got really bored of the stage 2 after i went gt28 i never get bored of it its absolutely awesome believe me
