I wouldnt bother going big turbo, its alot of money for 350hp max, and then you will spend half the time struggling to put it down on the road.
I would spend some of that cost on sorting the handling and brakes if you havent already, a lsd is worth considering too for around £1200, with good brakes and suspension you will have a very fast car.
5-6k is alot of extra £ for power which is only good in a straight line.
hi, im new tto the forum, joined over the weekend, i drive a lcr 53plate 210, any body no wots a good bigger turbo upgrade without spending an arm n a leg?? cheers ash
words like more power and cheap do not go together. Well they can do, but all you will do is destroy your engine
I suggest you heavily look into the real cost of going big power. There is NO cheap way of doing it, full stop.
the average cost for turbo upgrades for myself and many others easily stretch into 3k+ mark, and thats just for the turbo conversion, thats without the FMIC, downpipe, exhaust etc
you are looking at 6k+ with all supporting mods
however if you are still determined to try and get big power on a budget or "arm n a leg" as you put it...then go ahead. I will wait for future posts from yourself like "my engine has blown".......
best of luck
