Bilstein b10 ?

hi there.. wil a Bilstein b10 kit for a mk3/mk4 cab golf fit the leon ? sorry if im being a spade but seems a good deal.. also is it any good for handling ? cheers

What Leon do you have?
Bilstein have always had a good name for handling but not so good for road comfort

hi there mate cheers for the reply.. mk1 fr . 54 reg. so obviously same setup as mk4 golf no :S ? .. im nto really after comfort want something nice and stiff nicely damped and good

I'm not too sure of the spring rates/kerb weights for the MK4 cabriolet.
If the kit fits the MK4 Golf GTI it will fit your car too

Its a bit strange that the kit is advertised as mk3 / mk4 cabrio - the mk3 uses the same strut setup as a mk2 ibiza i.e. 2 bolts between the strut and the hub carrier as opposed to one on the "proper" mk4 chassised cars.

Do you have any pictures of the dampers in question?

I'm also sure the mk4 cabrio was more a rebodied mk3 than a proper mk4 chassis.

That would make sense as the MK2 cabrio was a MK1 body with a cabrio reef
