Black Leon White Wheels

Hi,

I have a black FR and I've been thinking for a while what it would look like with white alloys but I'm really struggling to find any pics to see what it would look like.

Anybody know of any?

I personally like the black with white wheels. Someone with a Mk1 LCR on here has it done and IMO it looks great, im sure it'll look just as good on the Mk2

Maybe you should post up a picture of your car in the photoshop section and ask for them to photoshop in white wheels

Gold would work due to the gold flake in the black magic paint.
White can be very hard work when you've got a lot of brake dust... you'll need to clean them after every journey to keep them looking tip top, blacks, golds and greys are more forgiving

I like the idea of Bronze or Gold likely in between to be different but not to bling as well

This is the only pic i have.

It's a K1 with white wheels and white mirror caps - looks prety good imo!

will look my 'stealth' with black alloys. However, I always like the idea of being different and not many have chosen white alloys on black car so a goos reason to do it

The reason I guess is following an old wall papering rule; The heavier or darker colour should be on the bottom otherwise it just looks top heavy!

If you do go for white alloys get your calipers sprayed black or red for a contrast.

Have to say bronze sounds interesting too

Rickster, great find, thanks for that. I really like it and now am very tempted. I'm thinking of getting my wheels powder coated, I found a company who say brake dust won't stick much if they've been powder coated, although I've got a deal going with a car wash guy next to my work for £3 a wash and every 4th one is free

Here's my motor, think those white wheels & mirrors would be good on this?

Stealth is the way forward . The whole powercoating stopping brake dust is a load of Sh**e tbh! Ive had mine powedercoated black as i didnt think white would work too well..

The powdercoating just makes them easier to clean in my opinion, the brake dust just wipes off.

When I had mine powdercoated in gunmetal, the finishers had some on display that were white pearlescent and the finish was the mutts nuts, only twice had people had these done both to civic type r's!

I was thinking of doing this but never been too sure, I do like the silver FR mirrors on mine so proberly just stick with silver wheels.
But some pictures would be good.
