Check out page 3 of my readers ride thread mate, not a in depth guide but should help you out enough to get the job done :)

Thanks mate, just had a scan through it, im more worried about not bonding in the right place and the exhaust tips look off centre.

Haha, people in the states rave about them. There are some even cheaper copies but i went for the top spec witson as its actually a brand and you can see exactly what your getting.

I think that will be the hardest part with yours being one single piece, you pretty much get one go.

With the mounting piece that rivets on you can line it up then get one rivet in to make sure it doesn't move, then obviously the diffuser will be lined up right when you bond it on.

Dear Father Christmas
All I ask for this Christmas is some nice weather or just dry and time. Time and weather needed to get these dam parts fitted. Please find it in your power to grant what I want.
Otherwise I will start the new year a bad boy, you have been warned.
Lots of love
Sam

Merry Christmas.

It's a must for doing stuff on the car in this weather, even the simple jobs like changing wiper blades isn't fun when it's lashing down and wind is battering you.

My garage isn't massive but big enough to do most stuff I want/need to do, just want to get some shelving sorted it for it soon so I have a little more floor space :)

Had to grit my teeth a few times when building my mk1 on my parents drive and the weather was poor. Felt battered at times lol. When you hurt yourself it always hurts more when your cold and wet

Oh yeah, I've been there, trying to undo a rusty bolt and your hand slips off the ratchet and smashes against something nice and sharp in the freezing cold, loads of fun lol

So i made some progress today,
I managed to get my diffuser bonded onto the rear valance, not as easy as it looks with this kit.
I do recommend buying the oem kit just because its simple.
This RDX diffuser is a nice fit but just takes time lining it up and trying to keep it steady. Its a nice quality material and nice finish.
Anyway heres a photo of it all lined up and bonded.

Valance was cleaned before bonding ;)

Now hoping to get sprayed over christmas, advise needed for what paints to use, as its quite flexi.

Just a small update,
I have made some progress with the rdx diffuser.
All prep work finished, filled, bonded, sanded back and primed.
I have smoothed off the rear valance, this was a nightmare of a job. Lots of filler primer and sanding back. Im pleased with how smooth its turned out

Sanded back again and then added some colour

I have cut it back again and now awaiting some lacquer. The company i like to use for lacquer is not open until 6th January (martinbrownspaints) :(
Not sure if i should wait or find something different. I was hoping to get this finished by the 2nd January.

Also my witson w2-c004 stereo has arrived :)

Very excited to get this fitted and have play with it.
Looks spot on

The diffuser has come up looking really good mate. Would you recommend the RDX diffuser or get the OEM one just for the easy fit? Nice progress your making on the car.

From a quality point of veiw its very good, however not to good from a fixing point of veiw. I had to make up my own fixings, on the rdx site it does say it comes with a fitting kit, by this they mean a tube of bonding which isnt enough.
Oem kit comes with proper fittings. Both kits will look as good but recommend oem for less hassle but at the cost of another £60.
I am pleased with mine however :)

Nice looks good, liking the stereo :)

Me too mate. This is the best model they do, A8 chip and double the ram ;)
