Got them as standard on my FS, they look well nice

Ah so that's where they come from

They do look very similar to the FR bar the lack of the logo although the FS is very similar looking to the FR anyway, great looking cars

Only a problem is i polished it after claying (before i noticed scratches) and then i waxed, is it worth another go and give it a better polish to try and remove them?

The other problem is , how do i remove the wax or do i just put polish on top and then hope it eats through? lol

You used Autoglym SRP didn't you? That should be good enough to fill in any scratches.

I don't know whether or not you should remove the wax, I imagine so though. Autosmart Tardis or Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover would be my pick of products.

Yeah i used SRP but didnt realise it was scratched then, should i redo it and concentrate more ? lol

Yeah, on the most affected areas. The results would be better with a machine polisher, but you should still be able to do a good job by hand.

In an ideal world, I'd get a set of sport seats and go for a full black/red leather re-trim!

But putting my sensible head back on, the above is never going to happen. I would love a set of red sport seats than some facelifted Ibizas got, or a Formula Sport interior.

I'm digging that Cupra handbrake, where did you get the chrome button for it? I'm very tempted to get the cover and button myself

The Cupra handbrake cover was £15 inc P+P from Dave at SERE at the time I got it. The chrome button was off a standard Leon handbrake, the old one just pulls off and the new one pops on! Dead simple.

On the mods front, the dial insert is proving to be a pain in the arse. It's fitted but it doesn't work properly when the dash backlight is lit.

SERE cant sell the chrome buttons individually. AFAIK they only come on a whole new handbrake unit. I got my button off a Mk4 golf that was breaking near me.

The below picture explains the problems I'm having with the dial insert.

The dash light is on in the picture, and as you can see, all digits light up, however some are much brighter than others. And every single gauge under-reads slightly now.

I hate it.

Trying to communicate with the eBay seller I got them from in Poland is like trying to land a Boeing 747 on a bed of eggshells without breaking them...
