Slight update.

I ordered a new door lock mechanism in the week because the microswitch on mine had gone faulty... how's this for bargain hunting
Rang the dealer... new part is over £100 :-o
Saw a used one on eBay for £25... it's used though...

Found a brand spanking new one for sale from deutsche-parts.co.uk for £49 delivered! Bought it!

Fitted it today and it works perfectly, so nice to have the interior light working properly and hear the lights on buzzer work for the first time in months! :D

Also my dial insert has turned up, will add that to my list of things to do!

Oh, and the condensation has gone out of my driver's side headlight. [B)]

Kris, copy the link from your RR, click USER CP at the top of the page, then click "edit signature" on the left hand side of the page. Then write whatever you like in the text box, highlight it and click "insert link" icon (looks like a globe with a chain on it). Paste the link in the box and bob's your mother's brother! :D

Hmm... wire my fog lights up and then H7R HIDs probably.

Oh, and having just been out in the car, something's up with the passenger seat belt, heard a massive click when the passenger used it, now the seat belt doesn't go back in it's place and there's a crack on the pillar?

Y'know, I'm gonna refuse to carry passengers in future!

Slight update, got 2 part worn Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D2 tyres fitted on the back to replace the original F1s which had gone egg shaped. Cost £70 fitted and balanced, got 5.5mm of tread on, seems alright to me.
Also fixed the seat belt. Still got the crack on the pillar though, will probably order a new one at some point, the crack isn't noticeable at all really but I know it's there so it's bugging me!

So I'm skint now. But might be onto a cheap set of Sport seats from a fellow member if they're in good condition :)

Sounds good! I'm concentrating on getting mine all cleaned up and clayed i think, seems like the area that can give the best gains for lowish cost!

Yeah definitely mate, I've got everything I need to do give it a detail, clay, DA polisher, Menzerna polishes, sealants, wax, tyre dressing, loads of MF cloths... I'm waiting until the weather get's a bit warmer though, I should have detailed it before winter but I didn't. The car will be getting some new found shine later this year :D
