Ok, driving to work today and had to pull over with "stream" coming from my front bumper, pulled over to find ice cold "steam" like stuff chucking out my front end, temp wasnt high on dash or nothin and eveything seemed fine tho!

Any ideas!?

Sounds like you might have, my fridge did that a while ago and it took me ages to realise what the hissing and the smell was!!

No idea of cost for the motor.... Might be worth trying the Air Con... See if it works as a double check.... Hopefully its just a burst pipe or joint perhaps.

I take it you weren't acutally driving..... huh Hum!

was gettin a lift mate, really i was, it pains me everytime to jump in that passenger side but the woman treats the beast with respect and looks after her! so i dont mind to much!

will have to get my mate to come up, have a look - one of the bad things about not being mobile!

I bet it does mate, I would get me down a bit too but at least you can trust Mrs BCM to look after it.

I'd be ineterested to hear the result of the leak mate. Doesn't seem like its a common prob.... Dodgy seal perhaps.

I'll keep posted, wasnt getting down on the raod in my tin flute so gonna wait till i get home get the old overalls on and get on the drive and look underneath and round about!

air con condenser could have been holed as its in front of the radiator.
it aint cheap! and its a job to fit. ( front bumper off, panel off, radiator out i think).
plus another load of £'s to gas.

lets hope its easier than that. some of the air con pipe are have a rubber ring and held in place with one allen key bolt. one at top offside of radiator, one bottom nearside. worth a check.

let us know how you get on.
