Bluefin map

Well had the R on the rollers today, thought I would see exactly how the Bluefin really performs and it did 313bhp and 315lbft (428Nm) @ 4170 rpm. Quite chuffed with the results and will be interesting to see how the APR map compares next week.

Just gone stage1 myself yesterday with a neuspeed p-flo I wanna see what I get on a RR, what have you got on yours to get that read out :-D

Just running the map at the moment rest of the car is standard so I can get a true comparison between maps.

Make sure you try on the same rollers again mate.
Seems very generous for bluefin.
Either that your bluefin maps totally different to the shite I had from them.
Very interesting though roll on Wednesday for your transformation and it will be. guaranteed.

I think stage1 pulls quite well tbh. But am already thinking stage2 might suit me better lol just need the exhaust :-/

Go for it you won't regret it. I have all the bits for stage 2 but using stage 1 as the comparison between bluefin and apr

Via email, the car was holding back and giving all of the power at 5000rpm so I phoned them up and asked them to retard the timing a bit. Downloaded the new file and it was spot on.

Ah ok, i thought maybe you was asking for it to be slighty more agressvie or something lol. They seem very helpful then from what iv heard about the company which is one of the reasons iv gone with there product :-D
now wondering what stage2 will be like compared to stage1 lol

How much difference did your new file make? I have driven my friends revo stage 1 cupra and the power comes on much earlier at around 3500rpm.

And do you have any other mods? I thought the stage one bluefin maps were only good for 290 odd BHP

Quite a bit of difference the car pulls from a lot lower in the rev range probably close to 3000rpm and as you can see from the map its reaching max torque by just over 4100rpm. A Cupra should perform exactly the same as the R as its only software that gives the initial 25bhp over the Cupra.

£455 new or between £300 & £350 second hand and reset for a new vehicle.
