I have the above engine too.. does anyone have pictures and timescale to gut the DPF as i guttednthe 2x cats on my 2.5 tdi A4 quattro, but they was under the car so quite easy to do..Thanks.

The 2.0 8v used in the alhambra was the only 140 used in seats at that time with a dpf. The 2.0 16v 140 BKD did not have a dpf. The super rare BMM 140 engine did have a dpf but I've never seen one.

time scale you're looking at is about 3.5 hours to remove and refit and an hour to gut and weld it.

All the sensors need disconnecting in some manner, exhaust sleeve, drive shaft, lower engine mount, brackets, other pipe work and some people remove the sub frame too.

It's just a fiddly job with little room..
