wouldn't touch them with a barge pole

Best bet IMO would be an APR map

there ok lots of early torque weak top end, p-torque good top end, good mid, weak bottom end of revs, APR/REVO are really good.

Revo ain't over in n.ire - it's booked in with apr reps here next weekend. Just thought the bluefin would be a better option

Thanks guys

Right thanks guys.

Just hard to find a revo / apr map over here in N.ire

Plus id prefer something i could put back to stock if i was to sell.

Anyone used the bluefins and are they easy to use?

As times i would tak the car on a loong trip so i can reset it back to standard to help fuel costs.

Why are so many people against them. are they bad or is it just revo/apr have a high rating on here?

You SHOULD get better mpg out of a remapped car if youre taking it easy, compared to standard

It's like comparing BMW to Kia.

They're just better. End of story lol, doesn't really need an explanation.

APR dealer and you can flash it back to stock at any time using the cruise control stalk

^^^^^^^^ exactly.

I already spoke with Autotune and they said they can do an APR map but its over 500 sheets. they are a custome map company and have apr software but you need to ask for it and pay more.

Plus ive had dealing before with them on my ibiza fr 1.8t where it was mapped to pure (£20 wasnt even seeing 40mile)

lol well do what ever the f**k ya want then, i give up.

Jesus - Think you should lay off the boards when on your moons girls...... lol

Lol in normal language please?

I have told you which one is better as have other members. They have also told you that you can change it back to standard via the cruise control stalk, yet you are insisting on getting a bluefin, so just go for it!!!

The likes of APR / REVO put a lot more R and D into there maps than most "custom", you are also paying for features that they cant provide such as map switching and Valet mode

you want to go with a "Cheap" map you will probably still be happy but I can almost guarantee your car wont be running at its best or possibly not even safely

Little unfair to call superchips "cheap" they provide maps for plenty of cars and have a fair reputation.

I have the bluefin on my fr and it does what I need. Not saying it is better than any other. From what I understand Apr/revo would achieve better results but I wanted a product that can be completely removed as opposed to something that can be switched. Bluefin provides a nice amount of extra torque and bhp that you can feel. Haven't had mine on a RR since I have had bluefin, not sure I am that bothered. Had the map around 6 months now with no complaints.

Edit: forgot to add that it is dead easy to install. Took about 20 mins once they sent me the map. But the instructions are clear and simple.
