A Bluefin is a remap, it just gives you freedom to add/remove it when you want.
I'd say it's better than paying some guy with a laptop £150 as they are generally well tried and tested even though they are generic, and meant to be more reserved than other tuners.
It depends what you want, personally I'd rather go into a well respected place and have it done on the dyno.

A bluefin is a generic remap on a fancy device. A proper remap will be fine tuned to your vehicle and will be far better suited if you have any modifications from standard.
