Bluefinned my FR! Ive joined the club...

Hi guys,

I know there are loads of posts all the time about remapping etc but i thought i would give my two pennies worth on what i think about bluefin...

it is fantastic....so much better, pick up is immense and the extra torque is amazing... wish i had done it sooner...

as soon as the warranty is out next year i will be getting the correct components to go stage 2...

diverter valve from forge - uprated fuel pump? - milltek exhaust turbo back? - airfilter/induction kit?

are they the components needed before i go stage 2 on my FR?

Glad you like the Bluefin remap ... I have one on my Golf Gti Edition 30 and it is the best money I have spent ! Smoother, quicker and very refined.

For my car - and I see no reason why yours should be any different ... Superchips stated a TBE system from the likes of Miltek was all that was needed for their Stage 2. A panel or CAI filter may be beneficial as would an uprated fuel pump.

The main thing they mentioned though was the sports cat as opposed to the standard one being the thing that makes the main difference on a Miltek TBE as it keeps the exhaust gas temperatures lower and allows them to up the boost on their map.

Give them a ring and ask ... they are more than happy to have a chat in my experience.

Good to see another postive review/feedback on the Superchip "Bluefin" remap. I'm glad your pleased with it.

I'm on count-down until I get mine. I already have a £40 voucher for JKM, so I'll be able to purchase one for my Cupra for £350...

Roll-on December 20th.....32 Weeks to go.
