I’ve got a standard facelift mk2 leon 2010 and I can connect to the car via Bluetooth which allows me to make and receive calls but it won’t let me stream music any reasons why and how I can allow it to play music? (I’ve put a picture of my unit in too)
1 of 2 things: your head unit has the bluetooth but doesn't support A2DP (which allows the streaming of the music from phone to speaker) or you have the Bluetooth module under your seat which is standard Bluetooth and not premium which does support A2DP. If yours is within the unit I don't know if it's a case of head unit upgrade for the feature.... If its the module its simply just upgrading your module I believe.
Do u have a rns310 of 315 radio? RNS310 or old 315 has a BT module under the seat. If u know the number on the BT Module u can check here http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Telephone_Retrofitting if it support music. In the 315 with built in BT u can enable the BT Music with VCDS.
Also in the old RNS310 and 315 u must enable BT Music for a extern BT Module.
