Bluetooth comms kit

Has anyone got any pictures of the larger dash display you get with the bluetooth comms kit? Been looking everywhere and nowhere even mentions it.

What other extra features do you get with this display on the FR?

I think you'll find the display they are talking about is the one i posted between the temp and fuel gage.

I could of course be wrong

So is the only difference in model spec the bluetooth kit?

As far as i'm aware - yes. But someone with the Bluetooth would have to confirm that.

Dont forget that the display does a lot more than just for use with the bluetooth,
Others would have to explain what though.

Anyone tell me any other benefits of the larger screen? Any additional features?

I cant tell you what the smaller screen lets you do but the larger one gives you screens for the following:
Audio (shows track no. and disc no. from changer, radio station etc)
MFD (shown in picture)
Phone (gives menu for contacts, recent calls etc)
Setup (contains options relating to units mile/km etc and lighting)

I think the only actual difference in what you can do with the larger display is that you can change the coming home/leaving home lighting delays in 10sec increments. Some one with the smaller display will need to confirm whether they have this option or not.

Yes, think you right Tam.

I have the 'normal' display and it just shows the mileage, trip computer and one of the computer displays, e.g. Time, Temp, Average speed, Average MPG etc.

It doesn't have the washer bottle is low/out warning. I think that comes with the winter pack, but I'm not sure.

the larger one has the light but ive never had it come on for me!!!

With the small MFD you only get all the information like average mpg etc. The only thing you can set up is a speed limit. So you will get a warning when you're driving faster. This is useful if you have mounted winter tires.
With the large MFD you can set up much more comfort functions and some other stuff. For example you can set up if your indicator is blinking three times when you touch it or not, Coming Home,...
The information if the washer bottle is empty you will get only with the winter pack. Perhaps you will also need Xenon but I am not sure about it.
