Yep, did exactly the same! Bought the Parrot too and I must say is such a cracking piece of kit. I don't get off the phone now!!

I have it mounted to the right of the "radio screen" so that the wire comes out of the radio fascia and that way it is easily accessible to my left hand. Will try and post some pictures but its in for the 20k service today... if you remind me I will defo post some!
 
You def can't beat the parrot, like K4ith I find i'm always chattin to someone when in the motor.
3200LS fitted, marks out of 10, erm ten!
 
I fitted a 3100 into the wife's Smart at Christmas. Very easy to do only took an hour.

Works very well and very easy to use.

did you use one of the brodit clips, the no screw type to mount it on?

The sticky pads that come with the Parrot kit are very strong so if you have a flat surface you could just use them.

It comes with an assortment of mounts/brackets/sticky pads etc so you have plenty of mounting options.

got it fitted today, ice man advises pioneer have facia fronts now, so looking at getting a double din unit now
 
Question about the parrots, can the be detached when leaving the car?
