Model Year 20/21 Bluetooth sound quality?

Hello people, so I have a issue with the sound from the car with Bluetooth connected.
So when I play audio from my phone a Pixel 8 pro it sounds terrible really tinny and when playing YouTube or Instagram clips the lip sync is way off.
When I did the same with my old Leon mk 4 it sounded just the same as the normal radio sound quality very good.
Am I missing something? The MMI is on the latest SW version 1968 or something. Thanks in advance.

No problems here with Bluetooth. Maybe try forgetting and reconnecting, or try with another phone and see if it makes a difference.

Are you connecting via Android auto or directly via Bluetooth? That may make a difference also if not using Android auto.
